Last updated: 1 July 2026 · Applies to bluevault.in and BlueVault operations.
This Privacy Policy explains how BlueVault ("BlueVault", "we", "us" or "our") — a retail brand of Pastime Entertainment, registered in April 2022 — collects, uses, discloses, stores and protects personal information belonging to visitors and customers of the website https://bluevault.in and the physical retail store operating as PlayStation Exclusive at Shop No. 1, Gopal Terrace, Shimpoli Road, Borivali West, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400 092.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of every person who interacts with us. By using our website, placing an order, or interacting with us on WhatsApp, email or in person, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Policy.
This Policy is published in compliance with (i) the Information Technology Act, 2000, (ii) the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and (iii) the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable in India.
We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide when interacting with us. This may include: (a) contact details such as your name, phone number, email address and delivery address; (b) order details such as products purchased, order value, order date and delivery preferences; (c) communication content when you message us on WhatsApp, email or through the contact forms on our website; and (d) newsletter subscription details if you opt in to email updates.
We also collect certain information automatically when you visit our website: (a) technical data such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, timezone and language settings; (b) usage data such as the pages you visit, referring URLs, time spent on pages and interaction with our content; and (c) cookies and similar tracking technologies as described in Section 6 below.
We do not store your full payment card details, UPI credentials, banking passwords or CVV numbers on our systems. All payment information is collected and processed directly by our payment gateway partners, who are compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS).
We use the information we collect for the following purposes: (a) to process and fulfil your orders, including inventory allocation, invoicing, shipping, delivery and returns; (b) to communicate with you about your order status, delivery updates, and any issues that require resolution; (c) to provide customer support before, during and after a purchase, including handling refund and warranty requests; (d) to send transactional emails such as order confirmations, shipping notifications and receipts; (e) to send optional marketing communications about new products, launch offers and pre-orders, only where you have opted in; (f) to detect, prevent and investigate fraudulent transactions, security incidents and other unlawful activity; (g) to comply with applicable legal, tax and regulatory obligations, including responding to lawful requests from public authorities; and (h) to improve our website, product catalogue and customer experience through analysis of anonymised usage data.
We process personal information only where we have a lawful basis to do so. Where you place an order or interact with us on WhatsApp, our lawful basis is the performance of a contract with you. Where you opt in to newsletter or marketing communications, our lawful basis is your consent. Where we are required to retain records for tax, accounting or regulatory purposes, our lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation. Where we process usage data to secure our website and improve our services, our lawful basis is our legitimate interest, provided such interest is not overridden by your privacy rights.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes. We only share your information with the following categories of recipients, and only to the extent necessary for the purposes described above:
(a) Payment gateway partners — to securely process online payments, chargebacks and refunds. Our payment partners collect payment details directly and share only the transaction status, order reference and payer identifier with us.
(b) Shipping and logistics partners — to facilitate the delivery of your order to your address across India. We share your name, delivery address and phone number with our courier partners for the purpose of fulfilling the shipment and enabling delivery-related communication.
(c) Email and messaging service providers — such as our transactional email provider and WhatsApp Business, to deliver order confirmations, shipping notifications, receipts and support communications.
(d) Cloud hosting and analytics providers — to host our website, database and analytics infrastructure. These providers act as data processors under our instructions and are contractually obligated to protect your information.
(e) Government, regulatory or law-enforcement authorities — where we are required to disclose information under applicable law, court order or a lawful government request; or where disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, safety, property or those of any third party.
(f) Professional advisors — such as our lawyers, accountants and auditors, under duties of confidentiality, where necessary for the exercise or defence of legal claims or the operation of our business.
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to distinguish you from other visitors and to remember your preferences. Cookies are small data files placed on your device by your browser. We use both first-party cookies (set by our website) and, where relevant, third-party cookies (set by our service providers).
We use cookies for: (a) essential functionality such as remembering items you have inquired about and keeping your session active; (b) analytics to understand aggregate visitor behaviour and improve our site; and (c) preference storage such as remembering that you have dismissed the promo banner or newsletter popup.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies, but doing so may affect the functionality of our website. We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals as no consistent industry standard exists.
We implement reasonable technical, physical and organisational security measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. These measures include: (a) HTTPS/TLS encryption of all data in transit; (b) restricted access to systems that store personal information, with access limited to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis; (c) use of PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways for handling all payment card and UPI details; (d) regular review of our security practices and infrastructure; and (e) prompt investigation of any suspected breach.
Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information using commercially acceptable means, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Specifically:
(a) Order records, invoices and financial transaction data are retained for a minimum of eight (8) years to comply with taxation and accounting laws in India;
(b) Customer support communications are retained for up to three (3) years after the resolution of the issue for reference and dispute resolution;
(c) Newsletter subscription details are retained until you unsubscribe, after which we retain your email in a suppression list to ensure we do not contact you again;
(d) Website analytics data is retained in aggregated and anonymised form.
Once the applicable retention period expires, we securely delete or anonymise your personal information.
Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights in relation to your personal information: (a) the right to access — you can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you; (b) the right to correction — you can request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete information; (c) the right to erasure — you can request that we delete personal information we no longer have a lawful basis to retain; (d) the right to withdraw consent — where we process your information based on your consent, you can withdraw that consent at any time; (e) the right to object — you can object to processing that is based on our legitimate interests; (f) the right to portability — you can request a copy of your personal information in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format; and (g) the right to grievance — you can lodge a complaint with our Grievance Officer as described in Section 14.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 14. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request. We will respond to valid requests within thirty (30) days.
Our website and services are directed at users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will promptly delete such information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us immediately.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, plug-ins, applications and services (including WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, Google Maps and payment gateway pages).
